Alex Davessar, referred to by stagename “BlueFox,” is a multi-genre DJ and Producer from Columbus, OH. As a resident DJ at Midway on High and Ethyl & Tank- the two most popular nightclubs surrounding The Ohio State University- BlueFox routinely plays in front of crowds ranging from 500-2000+ in size. In addition to his residencies, BlueFox plays support sets at festivals such as Breakaway (Kygo, Illenium, 24KGolden) and Haunted Fest (Alesso, Duke Dumont, Dombresky) and opens for international touring talent such as Cash Cash and Hook n’ Sling. BlueFox was recently booked to open for James Hype; unfortunately, Hype’s Columbus stop was rescheduled due to immigration complications. As an underground producer, BlueFox amassed a respectable 50,000+ streams in less than two months following the release of his freshman EP. He has written with and produced for talented vocalists such as Alessia (writer, lead vocalist: Gold Skies- Martin Garrix), Myah Marie (writer, background vocalist: Work B*tch- Brittany Spears), Eileen Jamie (writer, lead vocalist: Malo- Avicii), and Tyler Sjostrom. His first mainstream release, a remake of Annie Lennox’s classic hit Sweet Dreams, was produced in collaboration with Grammy Award winning producer Phil Larsen (Kylie Minogue, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, One Republic) and is set for release in February. With hundreds of hours of experience behind the decks playing house, hip-hop, big room, and top 40 music, and with audiences ranging from a few hundred to 1,000+ people, working as a professional DJ has forced me to overcome my childhood stage-frieght and become a skilled and composed preformer.
